Orbitform Group today announced that it has received ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management certification for the design and manufacture of orbital forming, fastening, joining, conveyor systems, and assembly equipment.

Orbitform has developed a robust joining process to compliment its orbital forming line. Rollerforming uses multiple rollers mounted on a rotating spindle to gently smooth and form material into a seamless, solid form. The rollers intersect the workpiece on a precise contact line, gradually moving material to the desired shape.

Arbor Automation, part of the Orbitform Group, is pleased to introduce the Low Back Pressure (LBP) modular conveyor system. Arbor’s conveyor transfers parts of all shapes and sizes with minimal energy.

The Orbitform Group is pleased to announce a breakthrough product for fastening integrity — the Fastener Inspection System (FIS). FIS is a revolutionary quality tool that can identify cracks, defects and mis-forms via pattern recognition. It also can indicate if improper force or torque has been applied to rivets (secured by orbital, spin, radial, or impact riveters, and presses) or other formed fasteners.

The Orbitform Group recently released a breakthrough product for robotic spot welding - the Weld Tip System (WTS). WTS is a revolutionary new tool that inspects spot welding electrodes (tips) and ensures that face diameters and general appearance meet acceptance criteria.
