Expanding its portfolio of servomotors, the JHN motors from Jetter provide high torque in a space-saving design. Suitable for use in extremely compact machines, the servomotors feature DC link voltages of 24-560V DC and a wide choice of motor windings. This makes them ideal companions for the JetMove servo amplifiers, such as the JM-1000 and JM-3000 series.
The motors use the rated currents of the servo amplifiers of 3.5-32A to full capacity, offering speeds tailored to an application's specific needs. Consequently, the high overload capability of the current generation of servo amplifiers enables highly dynamic acceleration processes, even with small sizes. The Jetter motors in the sizes JHN2 to JHN7 have a torque of 0.28-60Nm.
Like all Jetter motors, the JHN servomotors are noted for their closer concentricity tolerance, which has a positive effect on a system's smooth running characteristics. The motors also come with UL certification for the USA and Canada as standard. Numerous options for connector outlets, degrees of protection and encoder design round out the offering. The JHN motors can also be selected in the free NCP design software, version 3.0, from mid-April.
Gunther Raila, Product Manager, Jetter, commented: "The right choice and design of the servomotors is critical for the optimal use of drive as well as machine performance. By adding the JHN motors to the product range, we now have motors that offer a high power density despite their very compact design. This is made possible by an automated segment winding technology and an optimised motor construction. The advantage this has over the products of the competition is clear: Our JHN motors enable plants and machinery to be planned more flexibly and made much smaller. We are convinced that the JHN motors noticeably increase a system's efficiency."
